Blue Sky Employment Consulting LLC is a company that works with individuals with disabilities to assist
them with locating employment and then helping them to be successful in employment. We provide several different types of services, including Pre Employment Transition Services, Community Based Assessments, Job Development, and Job Coach Support. Summer Youth Job Coach

Job Coaches will provide assessments on students with disabilities while in real work
employment opportunities as well as to provide students with support while they are learning
valuable work keeping skills in a real work environment. You will find this position to be very rewarding as you will be assisting students with varying abilities to take the first steps in becoming successful in a competitive work environment while learning valuable work keeping skills. This is a 5-week position starting July 8th and ending on Aug. 9th. It will consist of 4, five and a half -hour days per week, plus 1 Friday report writing day.  Your work schedule could be 8:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. or 9:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Monday – Thursday, depending on the work site, and 1 hour on Fridays. You could be working with 1-4 students at your job site. Each job assignment will assess the students and provide support for them while they are working with an established employer. These job sites could be in Columbiana, Mahoning or Trumbull County. You will also receive gas cards to help with travel expenses to job locations beyond a typical 20-mile drive.

Year-Round
Job Coach

Job Coaches will provide assessments to individuals with disabilities while
in real work employment opportunities as well as provide them with support while in a real work environment either through a Community Based Assessment, or if they have been hired at a permanent job. You will find this position to be very rewarding as you will be assisting people with varying abilities to take steps towards becoming successful in a competitive work environment while assessing their employability skills. Each Community Based Assessment job assignment is typically 6 to 10 four-hour days spread over two to four weeks. During the job assignment you will assess the individual and provide support for them while they are working with an established employer. These job sites could be in different counties with varying employers. Job coaching for an individual that has been newly hired in a job will consist of supporting the individuals as they begin their new jobs and assist in developing natural supports on their new job. You will receive gas cards to help with travel expenses to job locations beyond a typical 20-mile drive. This is a PRN (per required need) position, meaning hours will vary based on caseload availability.

Vocational Specialist/Job Developer

Vocational Specialists will assist individuals with varying ability levels to locate, apply, interview and secure employment. You will be required to assist with job searching and support your clients during the job search and interview process. You must be able to engage employers in understanding the benefits of employing people with disabilities as well as support the individual and the employer throughout the hiring process. This is a PRN (per required need) position, meaning hours will vary based on caseload.
